Olubadan-in-Council nominates Ladoja as 44th Olubadan.
The Olubadan-in-Council has nominated Oba Rasidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland
Oba Ladoja was nominated at the Council meeting held at the New Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan on Monday, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Oba Ladoja was not in attendance at the meeting which had
All the beaded crown High Chiefs were in attendance, with the exception of Oba Ladoja.
The Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola moved the motion which was seconded by Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole.
Ladoja’s name will be forwarded to the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for approval.
Ladoja’s nomination is coming following the demise of the 43th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
Following Ibadan Obaship system, Ladoja, who is the topmost chief in the Olubadan line of the Chieftaincy rung, is the next-in-line to succeed Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
