Nigerian music super star, David Adeleke, well known as Davido has come back to the music scene in grand style with his superb ‘Timeless Concert’ which was held on Sunday, 23 at the Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos.
The show which has created room for massive talking points occurred after the release Davido’s fourth album ‘Timeless’ On March 31, 2023.
Interestingly, the talented singer, dazzled at the 50,000-capacity venue, for the first time in over a year he came back to stage.
At the concert, fans were thrilled and excited as the singer performed and entertained music fans and enthusiasts, after achieving the feat of breaking multiple first-week streaming records in Nigeria and on the continent.
The rave of the moment in contemporary music also prompted fans to react and make random comments after the concert. Some of the activities, especially Davido and other entertainers’ performances that occurred during the event has now become a topic for music lovers, and social media users.
Apart from Davido, there were performances from Tion Wayne, S1mba, Iyanya, Odumodu Blvck, Mayorkun, Perruzi, Pheelz, Khaid, Skiibi, Maze X Mxtreme, DJs, guest artists, while the hosts, Kie Kie and Mr. Macaroni made the atmosphere lively and appealing to everyone present at the concert.
Other notable notable occurrence at the event was the presence of Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State.
The well-known Senator and dancer was accompanied by his aides and was greeted by fans who claimed to be from Osun state.
Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu also known as Odumodu Blvck also performed at the Timeless concert on sunday.
The unusual rushing to the stage by a fan during Davido’s performance of his 2017 single ‘Fia’, was also an attraction.
Another highlight of the event was Davido and Asake’s performance when they both did ‘No Competition’ from the Timeless album together.
Security measures were also put in place at TBS as the military, police, paramilitary, and private security officers were present during the concert.
