Three Injured As Building Collapses In Lago
Three persons sustained varying degrees of injuries after a one-storey building under construction collapsed in the Mushin area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred at 96, Ishaga Road, directly opposite the Idi Araba Central Mosque, on Sunday afternoon.
According to a statement signed by the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, a distress call was received at approximately 3:30 p.m.
The three injured individuals were rescued and received immediate attention at the scene before being transferred to a hospital for further treatment by the Lagos State Ambulance Service.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing as officials continue to assess the site.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, as investigations are underway.
