The hopes of Saudi Pro League clubs securing the services of Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze, appear to have been dashed.
Chukwueze, who joined AC Milan from Villarreal last summer, has struggled to make a significant impact at the club.
With the arrival of new manager Sergio Conceição, the winger is among the players rumoured to be leaving San Siro.
Several Saudi Arabian clubs have expressed interest in signing Chukwueze, but the Nigerian international made it clear on Wednesday that he prefers a move to the Premier League or a return to La Liga.
Currently sidelined with an injury, Chukwueze is expected to return to action in the coming weeks.
