The newly-appointed coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, accompanied by his three trusted assistants landed in Abuja on Sunday by 5pm.
An official presentation of the 47-year-old coach is scheduled for Monday also in Abuja at 11am.
The unveiling
His immediate task is to qualify Nigeria to the 2026 World Cup.
The World Cup qualifiers resume in March with the Super Eagles to fly out to Rwanda before a home game against Zimbabwe.
Nigeria are second bottom of their qualifying group with three points after four rounds of matches.
Rwanda top the group ahead of South Africa and Benin, who all have seven points.
Lesotho are fourth on five points.
Zimbabwe are bottom of the standings on two points.
