Anambra Targets One Million Children For Vaccination Against Measles

Anambra State is gearing up to protect over ONE MILLION children through the TWENTY TWENTY FOUR integrated measles campaign with the goal of reducing the burden of the disease.

The State Health Educator at the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Uju Onwuegbuzina, revealed this on Tuesday, during a zonal meeting organised by the United Nations Children’s Fund and the National Orientation Agency in Enugu.

According to Onwuegbuzina, OVER ONE MILLION doses of the vaccine have been secured to vaccinate children in ALL THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF THE STATE
