Pastor Adeboye Apologises Over Wrong Teaching About Tithing
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has apologised to the congregation over his wrong teaching about tithing.
Adeboye spoke in a viral video, adding that he was wrong to have said that those not giving their tithes would not make heavens.
Recall that Adeboye once taught that Christians who refused to pay tithe would not make heavens.
However in his recent teaching, the revered cleric said he was sorry, adding that such doctrine is not in the Bible but that the Bible says that Christians should seek peace with all men in holiness to see God.
The pastor went further to tell his members that one could be right and wrong at the same time, using his scientific experience to analyse the teaching.
He said as a scientist, he learnt that light travels in straight line but that doesn’t mean that the light travels like a rod but as waves.
According to him, there are Christians who should pay even more than 10 per cent to God.
