The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a wanted drug kingpin Ajiboye Damilare Samuel (also known as “Na God” after 12 months of evading arrest.
Director, Media and Advocacy NDLEA Headquarters Abuja, Femi Babafemi, said Ajiboye was arrested in a bank in Ogun state following well-coordinated efforts by the Agency’s Directorate of Assets and Financial Investigation, which traced 20 bank accounts linked to the suspect and blocked them.
Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, also said following his arrested the suspect’s warehouse in Akala, Mushin area of Lagos, was raided by operatives, where a total of one thousand, one hundred and one kilograms of Ghana Loud, a strong strain of cannabis was recovered.
The spokesman said in like manner, NDLEA operatives in Lagos on Friday 27th September arrested another wanted kingpin, who is the community leader and Sarkin Yamma of Badagry, Alhaji Bashir Mohammed Talba.
