Against the backdrop of the federal government’s promise to deliver on all road projects in the country, Nigerians have tasked the ministry of works to also shift attention to rural and hinterlands across the country.
Respondents say road projects in rural communities should be given priority to ease movement and inter-connectivity.
While Commending the ministry on ongoing road projects and rehabilitation being carried out in most parts of the country, a cross section of respondents say more resources are deployed in urban cities , arguing that the disparity between the cities and the rural areas calls for immediate attention.
As the ministry of works sustains it’s critical role in advancing Infrastructural development across the country, many asserted speedy delivery of road projects is key In improving connectivity, enhancing productivity and stimulating economic growth in various regions.
