The Nigeria Police Force has arrested two political thugs in Edo State as part of its efforts to combat electoral violence.
The suspects, Edwin Obanor (43) and Audu Tajudeen (41), were apprehended ahead of the election.
Obanor, a leader of an armed group, was arrested with three locally made pistols, while Tajudeen was found with one locally made gun.
