HAM Support Group UK, ⁠HAM Diaspora Loyalist Cut Off From Defamatory Campaign Against Hon. Makinde

The Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde Group in the United Kingdom and Diaspora Loyalists also referred to as HAM Support Group United Kingdom, and ⁠HAM Diaspora Loyalists have disconnected themselves from the online reports against Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde, the House of Representatives’ member, representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency in the 10th national assembly.

A report had alleged Hon. Dr. Biola Makinde of abdicating his legislative duties for months during the legislative session and relocated abroad with his National Assembly constituency office under lock and key, thereby rendering the entire constituency without representation for the period under review.

In a statement signed and released to the press on Sunday through the acting secretary of the Roundtable, Ms Christiana Ayodele, the group called Ekimogun Roundtable gave its support to the allegation tagged, “Alleged Legislative Misrepresentation: 30 Lawyers To Offer Free Legal Services Against Ondo Rep, Abiola Makinde.”

While responding to the allegation, the HAM Support Group United Kingdom and ⁠HAM Diaspora Loyalists have detached themselves from the defamatory statement against Hon. Dr. Biola Makinde.

The President/Chairman of both groups, Mr. Akinboni Koleola Benson Osebaba has kicked against the statement by the Ekimogun Rountable whom he has described as pretenders who are out to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gains.

To counter the awful statement made by the unknown group, Mr. Osebaba rather stressed on the impact that Hon. Makinde has made in the Ekimogun kingdom, emphasising that even people outside the community can testify to his good work.

In his words, ‘’Can they recall our dear MHR? Why are we making much ado out of nothing?

The faceless group is just barking and can’t bite. Hon. Dr. Biola Makinde has been doing excellently well in the community even people outside the community can testify to his good work. Why can’t we celebrate our own in Ondo kingdom?

I have seen MHR(s) in Ondo kingdom for years and HAM sits on top in terms of performance.

The faceless group does not have the power to “RECALL” Hon. Dr. Biola Makinde from the National Assembly.’’

• Sponsored HB 426 Bill to upgrade Adeyemi College of Education to a Federal University of Education from its old status since 1988.
• Facilitated the construction of an ultra-modern skill acquisition centre.
• Facilitated the construction of a primary school at Ajangbala Community in Oka.
• Facilitated the construction of a primary school at Odowo Community.
• Facilitated the asphalting of GRA Itanla and Ajangbale, Oka others foretold to come.
• Facilitated the reconstruction of Akinwande Street culvert.
• Facilitated the installation of Solar powered boreholes at Ifore, Kajola, Oboto, Owena-leshin, IgboOja, Igunshin, Jimekun, Igbado, to mention a few.

• Facilitated the installation of Solar Panel lights across Ondo in numerous streets to illuminate the city.
• Sponsored and currently sponsoring over 30 indigent Ondo Students for post graduate studies overseas including UK,Sweden,Norway,Canada, India and Germany amongst others.
• completed the building an ultra modern Library at the heart of Ondo for the continued development of the academics of our students.
• Currently constructing Ekiwood Movie Village in Epe, Ondo East, which when completed will be the biggest movie village in Ondo state.
• Currently constructing Ondo City Ultra-Modern Children Park and Zoo with a swimming pool as an attraction for children’s constituents.
• Provided thirty thousand hybrid cocoa seedlings and fungicides for our farmers as well as allied materials to boost their productivity.
• Continued medical intervention through “Kasolayo” for our pregnant women spanning over three years and also month medical outreach which covers healthcare, tests, drugs and treatments for the aged, all for free.
• Provision of an interest-free loan scheme up to 15 million naira to our small-scale business owners and market woman to boost their trades.
• Reconstructed the bridge at Omowumi Street, Segede off Ayeyemi Street.
• Sponsored and supported homegrown and indigenous entertainers in Ondo for their respective headline events.
• Provided four patrol vehicles across all police divisions in Ondo East and West to promote security of lives and properties.
• Facilitated scholarship of homegrown football talents to academy to further hone their skills with One Million Naira by partnering with Makinz football agency.
• Sponsored Ondo City Marathon, the biggest Marathon event in Ondo state.
• Facilitated a first-of-its-kind mega empowerment for his constituents across Ondo East and West which saw the distribution of tricycles, motorcycles, deep freezers, grinding machine, hair dryers amongst many others.
• Sponsored several welfare interventions for our aged, widows and orphans by distributing food items and packages.
• Matriculated and graduated hundreds of youths who had acquired one skill or another through the HAMDROMI Entrepreneurship school all for free.
• Facilitated the reconstruction of two damaged culverts at Igbo Oja which had cut off the community.
• Facilitated Federal employments for numerous youths from Ondo East and West across several federal institutions, ministries, departments and agencies.
• Held the first ever Townhall meeting by any politician in Ondo to receive community views, perspectives and feedbacks on public issues and also to give an account of his stewardship to community stakeholders.
• Kickstarted the HAMDROMI Palliative Drive which assured and continues to assure the welfare of hundreds of the people, men, women, young and aged.
• Facilitated a mini empowerment to farmers by supplying farm tools and training in modern farming techniques.
• Provided transformers to several communities in need.
