President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria will meet with President Xi Jinping of China today, marking the beginning of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China. The two leaders will sign five Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where Tinubu will be received with a guard of honor and a 21-gun salute.
The MOUs aim to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and China, focusing on key areas such as green economy, agriculture, satellite technology development, media enterprise development, blue economic development, and national planning cooperation.
