In an apparent move to support the Federal Government’s policy on the ease of doing business and to tackle economic sabotage and illegal taxation, the police have arrested TWENY suspects involved in unauthorised revenue collection and multiple taxations along the Enugu and Abakaliki-Ebonyi highways.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police Muyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
He said, “The arrests mark a significant step towards eradicating illegal activities, promoting economic growth, and ensuring the free flow of industrial and agricultural produce on highways across the country.
