“There Is Only One Emir In Kano”
The publicity Secretary of the “New Nigeria Peoples Party, Kano State, Mr. Ladipo Johnson has asserted that there is only one emir in Kano and he is Emir Muhammdu Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
He spoke on the Silverbird Newshub programme on Monday, adding that Emir Sanusi is recognised by the court and the government and remains the authentic monarch.
He said he did not know why the deposed Emir Aminu Bayero had been challenging the court verdict, saying he should not allow himself to be pushed by politicians.
