There is need to go beyond the court verdict and provide guidelines for local government to run successfully in this country.
He said,”Most people are not familiar with local government election anymore and this is why the federal government, the national and state assemblies have for roles to play to set the guidelines.”
According to him, the country is still in a vicious cycle even though many applauded the Supreme Court judgement on Local Government autonomy.
