Beauty queen, Mirianne Bestowe, a contestant at the 2022 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant has died on January 9, 2023.
The sudden death of Bestowe who represented Bayelsa in the prestigious MBGN event was disclosed by her twin sister.
Bestowe’s death has attracted comments and condolences on social media. Pageant Crown Africa on its Instagram account wrote, “Mirianne, once a beacon of love and beauty, bore the heavy burden of a tumultuous existence in her final years.
Her sister poured out the painful narrative on Twitter, exposing the relentless torment she faced – bullied by her fellow pageant sisters/community and organizers since MBGN 2022. This relentless onslaught took its toll, plunging Mirianne into internal struggles exacerbated by family issues.
Her journey was far from easy, and our hearts ache knowing the depth of her suffering. Farewell, dear Mirianne; we hope you’ve found solace beyond this cruel world. May your soul now rest in the peace that eluded you in life. 💔’’
