A recent survey published by the UK government has shown that Nigeria has the greatest number of international student dependents over the last four years.
The research states that as of the end of September 2023, there were an astounding 60,506 dependents from Nigeria, a startling growth of 59,079 from the meagre 1,427 registered in 2019.
Nigeria has overtaken India to occupy the top position, with 43,445 dependents as of the end of the third quarter of this year, up from 2,127 in 2019.
