Liverpool on Saturday secured a point against title rivals Manchester City, after both teams settled for a 1-1 draw in the English Premier League.
A late goal from Trent Alexander-Arnold was enough for Liverpool cancelled out Erling Haaland’s 50th Premier League goal.
City were at their best and almost got a win for their effort after taking the from when Haaland’s goal. Interestingly, the Pep Guardiola’s team who have won every league match at the Etihad this season, as Haaland set a new record, reaching his Premier League half-century of goals in just his 48th appearance.
Currently, City are at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Liverpool with just one point. City top the table on 29 points after 13 games while Liverpool have 28 points.
City has achieved a 23-game winning stretch at Etihad Stadium across all competitions for City.
