As the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup commences July 20- August 20 2023, Silverbird Television has concluded signing off on broadcast rights (in partnership with Afrosport Ltd) to transmit the live matches of the competition which holds in Australia and New Zealand.
The games will be broadcast Silverbird TV Free To Air network ONLY and not on any of the company’s satellite, cable or streaming platforms .
Newshub transmission on STV/NEWS24 on DStv and StarTimes will continue broadcasting throughout the competition as most of the matches will be played in the morning.
