President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos today ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Before his arrival, there was a fanfare at the Presidential wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos over the visit of the President who is expected to observe his first Sallah celebration as President.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in anticipation of the President’s arrival, also visited the MMIA to receive President Bola Tinubu, including other people who also thronged to the Airport to welcome the President.
Tinubu’s visit comes after the Federal Government declared Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays to enable Muslim Faithfuls mark this year’s Eid- El- Kabir celebration.
Prior to the announcement of the holiday the President concluded his official trip to Paris during which he participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
