The victory of Nigeria’s Combat Athlete, PC Juliet Ukah over South Africa’s Crystal Van Wyk at the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) 102, has attracted accolades from the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, after her successful Professional Training Tour.
IGP Alkali Baba congratulated the Nigeria Police Force Skilful Combat Athlete in a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Juliet had a clean sheet from the result of her bout, emerge the winner by Unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) in a fight which took centrestage on Thursday 13th April 2023, in Johannesburg – South Africa.
Juliet in 3-Round bout a on to defeated Clodia Vochung Shivabo (IMBGIM FC) of Cameroun on Saturday 22nd April 2023.
Going memory lane on her journey to stardom, PC Juliet embarked on a 6-Week Professional Training Tour in Thailand, after she was recently released by IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, alongside another Police Female MMA Fighter.
Ukah, a Woman Constable has exhibited the zeal of a champion since she was Recruited into the Force in 2018. She was able to make her dream a reality after conquering the Boxing, Kickboxing, and now MMA world of Nigeria and Africa.
PC Juliet Ukah now has to her credit an unbeaten streak after 4 Professional Fights (4 wins – 0 loss – 0 draw). This achievement makes her the African EFC Champion and the No. 1 Contender for the World EFC Female Straw Weight Title Belt.
IGP Alkali Baba in his congratulatory message hailed the officer and appreciated the contributions of the Nigeria Police Force to sports development in the country.
The IGP also promised to continually discover and showcase new talents in the Police after commending the officer for making the Nigeria Police Force, and by extension, the nation proud.
