Producer of “A Taste of Sin”, Samira Yakubu has expressed her delight over the premiere of the movie.
She said during the premiere of the movie last Friday that she was super excited at the outcome of the movie.
“I am a muslim but I found it worth producing a Christian movie because I believe we are all one people. The cast and crew were amazing and I am really grateful to all of them”. The media launch of A Taste of Sin came off last Friday, March 17 at De-Icon Events Centre at East Legon in Accra.
In attendance were Archbishop Nicholas Duncun-Williams and his wife Rosa Whitaker, the cast and crew of the movie, some members of Action Chapel, the media and some invited guests.
A Taste of Sin is an enthralling story that explores the power of faith, forgiveness and hope through the lives of two pastors intertwine – one tempted by a shortcut to success, and the other facing unimaginable trials in his marriage. As they navigate these challenges, they grapple with fidelity, temptation and their own beliefs.
The star-studded movie has the likes of Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, James Gardiner, Kalsoume Sinare, Roselyn Ngissah, Kofi Adjorlolo, Akosua Agyepong, Abena Akuaba and a debut cameo appearance by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
A Taste of Sin was directed by Frank Rajah Arase.
Speaking at the event, the President of Dominion TV, Rosa Whitaker, described the movie as a life-changing cinematic wonder that will keep you at the edge of your seat while building your faith from the inside out.
A Taste of Sin is set to be released at Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall and West Hills Mall on April 7, 2023 and the Golden Eagle Cinema, Kumasi City Mall on April 8, 2023.
