The Nigerian government has teamed up with the Africa Creative Market to identify and train young talents in the creative industry.

According to organisers this development which occurred in Lagos, aims at  showing support to the creative space in Nigeria.

Some notable personalities like  British Nigerian actor, Wale Ojo, President and Head of Colour Creative Management USA, and others were present at the event.

Interestingly, the event was able to attract stakeholders from the African and international creative industries together to explore and exchange innovative ideas to spur the growth of Africa’s creative economy.

During the programme, training in some specific areas were carried out. Some of them are: and executing projects, marketing strategies, and accessing financing for budding artistes in the film, music, and fashion industries.

The entertainment sector was not left out as the Market provided artistes with networking and mentorship opportunities to help grow their careers and businesses.
