Sultan on Boko Haram
Muslims have been urged to collaborate with christians in embracing peace and dialogue to enhance national security.
The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs said this in a press statement. They expressed solidarity with the federal government in its efforts to suppress Boko Haram’s violent rebellion.
The councils president Alhaji Saad Abubakar observed that Boko Haram’s actions are unacceptable to muslims and as a result; the council dissociated itself from the sect’s saga.
According to him, Boko Haram members have declared war on all Nigerians and not just on christians.
