Oyo curfew

Meanwhile, oyo state government today announced the suspension of the curfew imposed on the state during the fuel subsidy protests.
This followed the suspension of the nationwide protest embarked upon by organized labour in the country.
In a release signed by the secretary to the state government, mr. Akin olajide, the state government urged the people of the state to maintain peace and order in their conduct and guard jealously the peace that had reigned in the state.
According to the statement, the joint patrol team of police, military and security services would continue to maintain peace and order in the state, even after the suspension of the curfew.
