Merseyside Police Ready to take action during weekend's FA Cup tie
Merseyside police have stressed they will take action over any inappropriate remarks and behavior at Saturday's FA cup tie between Liverpool and Manchester United.
The bad blood between the two clubs has been increased with Luis Suarez's eight-match ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra.
Add to that is United’s ticket allocation of 6000, under FA cup rules, which more than double what they usually receive and the potential for anti-social behavior is heightened.
The Merseyside force says their policing style will be "firm, fair and friendly" but they will take action where necessary.
