House of Reps Probe

More revelations continued at the resumed hearing of the House Of Representatives probe panel on the country's subsidy regime. In its presentation, the Central Bank Of Nigeria revealed that over 1.7 trillion naira was paid to oil marketers as subsidy remittance in 2011.

This is against the 1.4 trillion naira earlier credited to the Ministry of Finance.
