Escaped Boko Haram Suspect

Indications emerged on Wednesday that inspector general of police Hafiz Ringim may pay dearly for the escape from police custody of a high priority suspect, Mr. Kabiru Sokoto, detained over the christmas day bombing in Madalla, near Abuja.

Minister of police affairs, Caleb Olubolade confirmed to newsmen at State House Abuja that he had issued a query to Mr. Ringim on the affair and he would be punished if found culpable. State house correspondent Kehinde Amodu reports.
