Defence minister-soldiers deploy

Meanwhile, the minister of defence, doctor haliru mohammed says the deployment of soldiers in some parts of the country is to forestall anarchy.
The defence minister said this today in abuja at a media briefing.
Dr. Mohammed said the federal government acted on security reports to avoid violence in the country.
He also added that the troops would be withdrawn as soon as normalcy returns to the states.
