Chadians Linked to Kano Attacks
At least 200 people, and mostly Chadian "mercenaries," have been arrested after last week's attacks in Kano. A police source told the associated press that 80% of those arrested were chadians.
The source said there were indications that the Chadians had been paid to participate in the recent attacks attributed to Boko Haram.
A un report on regional security released on Wednesday said there was evidence suggesting that Boko Haram had Chadian members who had received training from Al-Qaeda's North Africa affiliate.
