Arrest Order for PDP Officers

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday issued a bench warrant for the arrest of acting National Chairman of PDP Abubakar Baraje. 

The order is to compel him to appear in court to face contempt for the party’s role in the crisis that rocked the party in Ogun state. The court also issued a similar order on the national vice-chairman of PDP in South-West, Tajudeen Oladipo, national legal adviser, Olusola Oke and national organising secretary, Uche Secondus. 

The contempt emanated from the suit filed by Dayo Soremi led executive, challenging the composition of a caretaker committee for the party leading to 2010 general elections.
