Abubakar Resumes Office

The new acting inspector general of police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar today took over the reins of power from Hafiz Ringim as the 16th indigenous police boss following his appointment on Wednesday by president Goodluck Jonathan. 

He warned officers and men of the force to brace up to challenges ahead, while promising to tackle the menace of terrorism and other related crimes in the country.
