World Boxing Heavy Weight Champion, Anthony Joshua said that the WBC Champion, Deontay Wilder will respect him after the unification bout between two of them.
There are indications that the Joshua and Wilder may fight in 2018 but no negotiation has been done yet.
Joshua’’s exclusive interview with Kugan Cassius @bronzebomber TV revealed the preparedness of the Briton for any opponent in 2018.
Wilder had repeatedly called on Joshua for a unification bout Joshua stated in the interview that the boxer was only advertising himself and yet to put any offer on the table.
Joshua said, “I’m not in talking business and a fighter. I don’t do my negotiation in public. If Wilder is really interested in fighting me, let him make a negotiation.”
“Let me see the offer he has on the table before we fight. It is about value. I’m always willing to fight. I’m not afraid of anyone,” he said.
He stated that Wilder would not need to fear him but would respect him after the bout.
Joshua explained that he would sit down with his team and strategize on what they are going to do. It is not about Wilder, it is about WBC belt. I have not seen a contact of offer on the table. Am not in a business of talking,” he said.
