Bayelsa State Governor  Seriake Dickson has called on the Federal Government to stop using the Niger Delta Development Commission to compensate politicians or fund political activities for their loyalists.

Governor Dickson came out with this at the inauguration of a seven man verification committee of NDDC projects in the state.

The governor frowned at the high rate of abandoned projects across the state by the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, adding  that  government is setting up a mechanism that will monitor the execution of all projects in the state.
