The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) have discovered an eight-storey building belonging to Patience Jonathan in Abuja.

The magnificent Eight-storey building which is located in the central district of Abuja, between the National mosque and the federal secretariat is appraised to be worth N6bn.

The property was allegedly purchased for her through her foundation called, The "Aribawa Aurera Reach Out Foundation."

The EFCC in its document which was attached to a court application said, it has written to the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to get the identities of the directors of the foundation.

EFCC said, this development was meant to enhance further investigation to unfold who the real owner of the property is, and where the funds are coming from.

From investigation, there are assumptions that the Ex first Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan cannot afford such a magnificent building within a short period of time, with her last official job as a permanent secretary of Bayelsa state.
