The Southern Leaders Forum has expressed disagreement with President Muhammadu Buhari’s position, that it is only the National Assembly and Council of States that can engage legitimately on national discourse.

According to these leaders cutting across three geo-political zones in the south, the two institutions mentioned cannot genuinely convey the agitations of millions of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report of the committee set up to investigate suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency Ambassador Ayo Oke.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo who chaired the committee however
did not give details of the report.

The Vice President said President Buhari, would take time to study the report and take the appropriate decision.
