Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has emerged the chairperson of the Board of Governors of the Economic ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development.
 
She was named the new chairperson of EBID on Tuesday at the end of the 15th ordinary meeting of the Board of Governors of the Bank in Abuja.

Meanwhile the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele has recommended stimulating the Agric sector, as a way of addressing unemployment in Nigeria.
 
Speaking on the theme "Maintaining stability through the financial systems, at the 2017 NBA Annual Conference in Lagos,  the CBN governor said it is about time Nigerian leaders began thinking seriously about job creation for a secured future.
