The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, delegates from Oyo, Ogun, Osun and Lagos states have called on its national body to expel Senator Buruji Kashamu and some others still laying claim to the leadership of the party in the Southwest.
They also resolved to work together as one united party in their respective states to reconcile all stakeholders and move the party forward within the zone.
These were the resolutions reached at the end of the two day PDP Southwest reconciliation committee under the chairmanship of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Southwest are strategising to get the chairmanship position of the party.
The group led by a member of the party's board of trustees, Ebenezer Babatope stated that they already have a credible candidate in mind to fill the position.
