The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of four persons out of the six reportedly kidnapped yesterday in the state.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command,  Nnamdi Omoni, said  the victims were kidnapped in Emohua Local Government Area of the State.
According to him, they were travelling in a commercial bus through Port Harcourt when they were attacked by hoodlums late Sunday.
The rescued victims are currently receiving treatment at the hospital while men of the command are still combing the bushes to rescue the other two persons.
He added that the driver of the bus sustained gunshot injuries.

Meanwhile, Operation Safe Haven maintaining peace and security in Plateau, parts of Bauchi and Southern Kaduna now has a new commander.
Major General Anthony Atolagbe took over from Major General Rogers Nicholas as the 10th commander of the special task force.
