The presidency said the ground-breaking of the proposed modular refineries might start next month.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, disclosed this in an interview with state house correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said there would be a meeting between Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and representatives of the Pan-Niger Delta forum next week.
Meanwhile Osinbajo is seeking the approval of the senate for a virement of N135 billion to fund some critical priority projects in the 2017 budget.
The request, which was contained in a letter read by the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, drew the attention of the National Assembly to discussions and agreements between the two arms before the 2017 appropriation bill was signed into law on June 12.
Part of the agreement, the acting president revealed, was that the executive should submit a virement proposal to move some funds from within the budget to other critical items in the budget.
