The nominations for the 69th Annual Emmy Awards were announced Thursday morning with comedy sketch series HBO’s “Westworld” and NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” tied for the most nominations with 22 each.
 
“SNL” is now the most Emmy nominated series of all time with a total of 231 over the history of the show.
 
The Emmy Awards, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 17th.
 
The award show will air on the 16th of September 2017.
