The reboot of beloved childhood classic Jumanji  has finally unveiled its first images in an action-packed trailer. 

This time around, the resurrected movie will tell the tale of four high schoolers who come across an old game after being forced to clean up during detention.

The teens each pick a character in the game and are of course transported to the terrifying jungle world as their avatars. While the 'dorky' kid is pleased to see himself pumped up as The Rock, the popular girl is less than pleased to find she has the body of Jack Black. 

While fans were pretty peeved to discover the remake will be replacing the iconic board game with a video game, Dwayne Johnson has at least promised to honor the late, great Robin Williams. 

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle will hit screens on December 20, 2017. Check out the first trailer below:
