A legal practitioner Kanu O Kanu says he is not surprised the Federal Government failed to secure a conviction against Senator Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

In an exclusive interview with Segun Ojumu, he questioned the quality of evidence supplied by the prosecution team.

The latest setback for the Federal Government comes after it failed to secure convictions against a Federal High Court judge, and the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Mr Kanu urged the Federal Government to review its approach.

Meanwhile some legal practitioners have thrown their weight behind the reinstatement of the suspended judges by the National Judicial Council, especially those who were never charged before any competent court of law.

According to them, their suspension has occasioned so much pain to the Nigerian judiciary, mostly as it concerns the administration of justice.

They however threw caution to the judges to live in such a way that aspersions will not be cast at their integrity.
