Acting president yemi osinbajo has continued to seamlessly conduct the affairs of government since President Muhammadu Buhari's departure from the country.

Apart from inaugurating the board of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, the acting president also met behind closed doors on Monday with some top security chiefs to review a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Maritime Security in the country.

President Buhari in a letter to the senate had designated Osinbajo to coordinate the affairs of government in his absence.

Though the coordinating instead of acting. capacity generated heated debate at the senate, the acting president has not failed in his constitutional obligations.
