The Nigerian Senate has issued queries to 38 Federal agencies for delay in submitting their budgets.
Agencies, which include  the Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Federal Inland Revenue Service  are mandated in line with the  fiscal responsibility act 2007 to submit their budgets to the National Assembly for scrutiny and passage.
The agencies were supposed to submit their budgets in September last year.
President of the Senate  Bukola Saraki,  says the issue must be taken very  seriously.
