Three female suicide bombers attacked a herding community, Shuwari Village at around 9:20pm on Monday.in Borno, killing two and injuring seven persons.

An eyewitness, Ali musa said the three bombers  were suspected to have been sent by Boko Haram insurgence.

According to Musa, two of the suicide bombers rushed into a  hut and detonated their explosives, killing two brothers who had retired for the night.

The third bomber detonated her explosives among residents who had gathered with seven of them badly injured.

'The female Bombers had earlier told the villagers that they were travellers
and needed accomodation for the night," the source said.

Boko Haram has increasingly used suicide bombers to attack civilian including mosques, schools, markets and bus stations.
