The Ekiti State House of Assembly has passed a resolution ordering the State Government to constitute a Judicial or Administrative Panel of Inquiry into the financial transactions of the admininstration of the former Governor Kayode Fayemi. 
 
This follows the former governor failure to appear before the house on three summons, to explain the alleged diversion of N852 billion Universal Basic Education Board’s fund during his administration.

In another develpment, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in persons says its perfecting strategies for the policy to name and shame perpetrators of human trafficking in order to deter traffickers. 
 
The new Dirctor General of the agency Julie Okah- Donli stated that judges and senior lawyers will also be trained to better understand and accelerate conviction cases in court.
