The United Nations has urged the international community to support the Nigerian Government in its efforts to ensure the release of the over 100 Chibok Schoolgirls who are still held by Boko Haram.
It also welcomed the recent release of 82 Chibok girls in North-eastern Nigeria and appealed to all citizens in the country to support the Federal Government’s reintegration programme for the girls.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the House of Representatives,  Yakubu Dogara has called on the international community to redeem their commitment to the internally displaced persons in Nigeria to avert famine, starvation in the camps.
Mr Dogara made the call in Abuja when the Italian President of Chambers of Deputies, Mrs. Laura Boldrini led the Italian delegation on a working visit to him.
