As the clock ticks to the third year remembrance of the abduction of over 200 school girls from Chibok, Borno State, the House of Representatives is asking the Federal Government to hasten the negotiation process for the release of the remaining abducted girls.
Representative Asabe Bashir said  that  the girls may be subjected to more hardship, slavery, molestation, abuse, rape, and forced marriage in the hands of their abductors.
She also wants to know the condition and rehabilitation progress made for the released 21 girls as there are media reports that they are preparing for their final secondary school exams in an undisclosed private school in Abuja.

Also, the senate has called on stakeholders in the judicial sector to withdraw copies of the different versions of the 1999 constitution in circulation for harmonization into one document.
The resolution followed the adoption of a motion to that effect sponsored by Senator Chukwuka Utazi.
