The national leadership of the All Progressive Congress APC has called for mutual respect between the executive and the legislature.
This follows recent disagreement between the senate and the presidency which led to the delay in confirmation of 27 Resident Electoral Commissioners.
National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun led members of the party’s working committee to a four hour close door meeting with the senate.
On his part, the President of the Senate said that the disagreement between the executive and legislature is a normal process in a democracy.
